This is Where I Leave You (Free Knitted Cowl Pattern)

One of the things I do to combat writer’s block. I hope everything’s correct in the diagram and pattern!

Level: Intermediate

Materials:

Two skeins of Patons Classic Wool (223 yards per skein) or similar worsted yarn.
Size 8 circular needle
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle

Gauge: 5 stitches and 6 rows = 1 inch.

Stitches:

CO: Cast on

K: Knit

P: Purl

K3tog: Knit 3 together

m1: make 1

SSK: Slip one stitch, knit the next stitch, pass the slipped stitch over the knit stitch

K2tog: Knit two together

T3B: Slip 3 stitches to cable needle and hold in back of work. Knit 2, then knit the 3 from the cable needle.

Instructions:

CO 120

Rows 1-6: K3, P2 around.

Row 7: *K1, m1, K1, m1, K1, P2* Repeat from * around.

Row 8: *K5, P2 Repeat from *around.

Row 9: Begin Pattern Row 1.

Repeat these 36 rows 3 times.

Row 117: *K2tog, K1, K2tog, P2 Repeat from * around

Row 118: *K3, P2 Repeat from * around

Rows 119-123: K3, P2 around

Row 120: Bind off. Weave in ends and block lightly.

Finished Measurements: Approximately 10 inches high by 39 inches around.
